Foster Hope relies very heavily on donations of both products, services and cash from both the public and corporate New Zealand.  We could not operate without you and are eternally grateful for all that you do.  Here is a list of some of the businesses who have helped us over the years.  There are simply too many to mention so apologies if we’ve missed anyone out. As always, a big thank you goes out to the public for all their donations.

 

 

NATIONWIDE SUPPORTERS

MediaWorks Foundation selected Foster Hope in 2015 as a National Partner to develop a one-year partnership plan that includes a national campaign with a call-to-action through a spot on their fundraising calendar. The campaign will inform and influence New Zealanders; raise mass awareness and funds for specific issues and initiatives; and will result in significant measurable impact. Their staff have donated many hours of their time as well as personal monetary contributions for our Christmas Gift Drive which allowed us to go out and purchase 135 presents to share with our agencies.

Monty’s Promotions supply promotional products and corporate apparel around New Zealand and the Pacific. Louise is the director and is also the chairperson of Foster Hope so they are a very active supporter and act as a drop off point as well as donating products, cash and covering part of courier fees for goods going to our various branches.

Cabu! have built our interactive website with all development, hosting and support all supplied at no charge to Foster Hope. Cabu! provides an interactive online literacy tool for teachers and students to use in the classroom, creating a platform for students to share their work online with parents and family. It also serves as a mobile friendly communication tool to help schools keep in touch better with parents and their school community.

Kiwi Books donated thousands of new children’s books and cook books for our backpacks and flat packs.

Kepa Foundation has chosen Foster Hope as one of just two charities which they will be fundraising for and supporting over the next two years. This support will make an enormous difference to us as we plan to use their funds to purchase backpacks for all our branches so that they can focus on fundraising for all the items that go inside.

Geyser Creative are specialist in culture communications and people engagement agency and have been wonderfully supportive of Foster Hope since we began. In 2014 they donated $500 towards our pyjama drive and created our Annual Report and brand design. Geyser Creative

Energizer chose Foster Hope as one of the 10 winners of the Energizer Power of Positive Energy and donated $5000 which we will use to purchase items for our packs for all our branches.

Z Service Stations – we have raised thousands of dollars through their Good in the Hood promotions around the country.

 

 

 

NORTHLAND SUPPORTERS

 

Northland Forest Managers are Northland’s leading independent forestry company specialising in exotic forest management and planning. We manage a combined estate of around 19,000 hectares of plantation forest throughout Northland for a number of clients. They donated $1000 to us to buy backpacks for Northland in 2013.

AUCKLAND SUPPORTERS

Lions Club New Lynn – Hosted a very successful Galaxy of Cars event in 2016 where they raised $18 000 for Foster Hope.

Scholastic New Zealand Ltd is where you’ll find all the best books and educational resources, great fundraising ideas and excellent value and they’ve been fantastic with their ongoing support for Foster Hope with providing books for our packs

Health Pak supplies thousands of hotels, motels and apartments with their products for the simple fact that guests just love their products. They have donated an enormous amount of soaps, shampoos, conditioners, bath gels and dental kits over the years to us. These items have been sent around the country to our various branches as they’re perfectly sized for our packs.

The Auckland Executive Club places emphasis on encouragement, sharing good news, hearing positive and dynamic speakers, and enthusiastically supporting all members who are making a difference in the business community. Extending friendship and support is what they are all about. They have generously supported us financially since 2012 as well as collecting frequent donations of PJ’s and items to go inside the packs we send out.

Santa’s Workshop – Svend makes us the most amazing hand made wooden toys for our packs.

Freemasons of New Zealand (Takapuna branch) donated $1000 and have helped us pack hundreds of backpacks on their premises since 2014.

Pumpkin Patch – donated boxes of new clothing which we’ve given to foster agencies.

Z Northcross – raised $868 through Good in the Hood in 2016.

Signature Style – Jackie O’Fee, the owner is a strong supporter and spokesperson for our organisation. She has donated and co-ordinated the collection of loads of products and cash donations for our packs and well as promote us to everyone.

Oracle Animal Care Workshops and Pet Parties – hosted a pet pyjama party at Animates Albany and collected 192 PJ’s in 2015 and 2016.

Auckland Vehicle Rentals – for the use of their vans when we need to move bulk stock around

Pixie Party Supplies is another one of our drop off points and Jenny has donated many items for our packs over the years as well as put together our newsletters.

Westlake Girls High School – Onewa House selected Foster Hope as their charity to support in 2015 and has involved the girls in collecting book and toys for our pack making days as well as host fundraisers during the year to boost our funds.

Massey University – sent an email out to their staff which went viral and resulted in thousands of dollars worth of donated products for our 2015 pack making day.

Carmel College – students took on a project where they made a wide range of gifts and toys to go in our packs in 2016.

Caprice NZ – donated boxes of new sample clothing and bedding which we passed on to social workers to distribute.

Langham Hotel – bulk donation of items for our Flat Packs and Backpacks.

Merck Sharpe and Dohme – donated large storage cabinets as well as bulk crockery for our Flat Packs.

Long Bay Primary School – donated beautiful handmade wooden spinning tops for our packs.

BP Oil – massive collection of new Christmas gifts

St Johns Youth – made loads of teddy bears for our packs.

Sanofi – donated a large quantity of bags, activity sets and tissue packs.

Business Network International (BNI) Parnell – has collected loads of PJ’s and items for our packs for a few years now.

Housing New Zealand – held a pyjama day and collected 150 pairs for PJ’s in 2015.

Hibiscus and Bays Local Board – Community group funding to make up 50 packs to be sent out by CFYS – Orewa

Thomas George Macarthy Trust donated $4500 to Foster Hope Wellington in 2015 which has allowed us to reach children further afield.

Kapiti Coast District Council donated $1000 to Foster Hope Wellington in 2015

Nikau Foundation are a funding manager for The Tindall Foundation for Wellington and they $2000 grant towards the contents of our backpacks.

AF Logistics have provided freight for our Wellington branch from Wellington to Whanganui. This makes a massive difference to our Wellington Branch and we are eternally grateful. 

Craig Pope Mortgages has generously donated funds for a number of years so that we can continue with our work.

Neos has very kindly donated a refurbished laptop to us.

Inner Wheel of Plimmerton is associated with, but independent from Rotary which is the largest women’s voluntary service organisation operating in the world. They are also generous donors to the Wellington Foster Hope branch which allows us to buy all sorts of items for our packs.

The Warehouse has been a fantastic supporter of our Marlborough branch over the years.  We were chosen to receive funds from their sales of their plastic bags in 2015 which raised $1166.  They have also run community BBQ’s on our behalf as fundraisers.

Farmers in Blenheim donated 11 boxes of new pyjamas in 2015 which we were able to share with some of our other branches too.

Cafe Home offered everyone who brought in a new pair of pyjamas a free coffee during our 2015 PJ drive.

The $3 Shop has donated products for our packs

CHRISTCHURCH SUPPORTERS

Wish! is an intimate family styled Bed and Breakfast offering modern accommodation close to the city centre of Christchurch. Ngarie is the owner and also our Christchurch co-ordinator so they double up as a drop off point and branch as well as being a huge supporter of Foster Hope.

Helston & Associates donated $1000 for our Christchurch branch to snap up a heap of black/red backpacks which were on clearance at a great price.

L’Oreal have donated shampoo to use via Fostering Kids.

Turfworks Contracting fills her car with petrol every 2 months so that she can do picks and drop offs.

Canterbury Patchwork & Quilters are constantly collecting items to go in the flat packs.

 

 

WEST COAST SUPPORTERS

The Warehouse has been a fantastic supporter donating product as well as inviting us to set up a gift wrapping stand over Christmas.

In Feb 2106 the West Coast turned on the weather and about 14 Greymouth schools arrived in an attempt to break the Guinness Book of Records for the longest Continuous High Five.  Thank you to everyone who supported this event to raise money for Foster Hope and a number of other local charities. Well done everyone!
